I was very unhappy with the service. Even more disappointed when I told TruGreen I didn’t want the service anymore, and wanted a refund for the balance of pre-paid services not yet performed. I was told upfront if I signed up again and I wasn’t happy they would refund the balance on the account upon cancellation. 2 or 3 customer service representatives told me what the refund amount would be. The actual refund was a tiny portion of what I was told it would be. I kept calling, got excuses about how much time it would take before the right balance would be credited back to my credit card. I waited patiently for weeks, no refund was forthcoming. I was so disgusted that I just gave up, not worth the aggravation. I stopped using them as well as some of my neighbors after they found out the situation I had with them. Their reputation is awful, I should have known better than to give them a second chance to do better.

I’ve used True Green since 2024. My neighbor and I get our grass cut by the same person as the same time , though I noticed after two weeks her grass still looked lush , green , and did not have a bunch of weeds sprouting out. She told me she gets her lawn treated by True Green, and I’ve been extremely happy and satisfied with their treatment and customer service ever since Even when there was an error on the amount they charged me once, I called, and they handled the matter promptly. I can’t stress their grass treatment enough though. I just get the basics , so I can only imagine how my grass would flourish if I got all the works! Even when it’s time for the grass to be cut , the treatment True Green provides just always has my grass looking. So LUSH AND GREEN. For $52.00 bucks every 3 months .. It’s worth it in my opinion . It’s unfortunate to read about other having negative experiences though. However, so far I’m satisfied because there is nothing cute about long choppy grass that looks dry and uncared for in front of your home . Your lawn makes a difference, especially for the neighborhood! 😌

I’m not positive how I would rate this company. I have had the service for over a year. My lawn looks better but I still have a lot of weeds. I also don’t know if the technician actually does anything. My neighbor had told me the driver just sits in the car and puts the placards down without spraying the product. I’ve witnessed something similar. My lawn still hasn’t recovered from being aerated from last year and looks worse after this years aeration. Maybe it’s just my dirt. I’ve had issues!

I strongly advise against using TruGreen Lawn Care in Macon, Georgia. As a hardworking family, we expect a level of professionalism and care when we invest our hard-earned money into a service, especially when paying for an entire year in advance. Unfortunately, our experience has been incredibly disappointing. Over the past year, the vast majority of the technicians have proven to be unprofessional and rushed. On multiple occasions, treatments in pellet form were left scattered all over our porch and sidewalks. Despite having blowers on their trucks, the technicians routinely failed to clean up the residue, leaving a messy and potentially unsafe environment. More concerning is the complete lack of basic training regarding property boundaries and landscaping. We grow edible plants on our property and have had to explicitly instruct technicians on what not to spray. Instead of taking direction professionally, technicians have repeatedly caught an attitude with us when asked to avoid our rosemary bush or fig tree. A certified lawn care specialist should easily be able to distinguish between a lawn and food-bearing plants. The final straw occurred recently when a technician careles

Lawn is doing great so far, but I’ve only had 2 treatments so I’ll update as the season progresses and my treatment schedule fleshes out. So far the techs have been personable and professional, and answered questions I have regarding my lawn.
